Rhythm Doggo

Currently, I'm working on a rhythm game named Rhythm Doggo where the player gets to compose the music

Source: nifflas.itch.io

You wanted to play a video game and just got transformed into a dog! Rhythm Doggo is a classic platform adventure where you play as a dog and make music on the way. Can you go back to your human form?

Game Info

You wanted to play a video game but you got transformed into a dog!

Rythm Doggo is a fun, classic platform adventure where you take on the role of a dog and create music as you go. It combines jumping and exploring with beats and rhythm, so your movements and actions match the music making the experience feel fluid and immersive. It blends a rhythm game and an exploration platformer, where what you do shapes both how you move and the music you hear.

Rhythm Doggo is all about joyful self-expression and musical discovery.

Be a good pup, sniff around, help fellow canines, and leap to your own beat.

Xenosphere

Drift, spin, dash, and golf your way in a journey through interstellar glyph space.

Game Info

Xenosphere is not terribly difficult, though not without challenge either. Note that the game doesn't have a save game feature as it's meant to be completed in a single 30-minute(ish) session.

An unlockable "high score" mode is also available if you want to test your skill.

Xenosphere also features highly adaptive algorithmic music using the integrated music software also featured in Uurnog, Ynglet, and Mystery Artifact.

Mystery Artifact

A downloadable experiment for Windows

Game Info

Mystery Artifact sits somewhere halfway between a song and a musical instrument. It contains no user interface, and conveys no information visually, so it should be blind accessible. It does visualize the music though through some funky patterns.

All buttons except Start and Select do something. Buttons often do multiple things depending on whether you press or hold the button, so make sure to experiment.

This is only a prototype and I plan to make something bigger based on the idea, probably an entire album of interactive music.

The video is an audio demo and contains no info not already covered by this description.

A Floating non Platformer

In this experimental platforms, we did away with the most basic building block of the genre: The platforms.

Move to Groove

With a dynamic, reactive, beautifully complicated soundtrack, you'll make a new melody with every move you make.

Mesmerizing Movement

Learn new ways to wrap your mind around interlocking space, riding down slipstreams, dashing into reflective pads, and resting in safe, secure bubbles.

Doodles Come to Life

The hand-drawn art style evokes every absent-minded drawing you ever made in the margins of your school notebooks.

Fluid Difficulty

Quick respawns and granular difficulty means challenge comes in all shapes and sizes-- even the shape and size of an amoeboid squid-thing.

Ynglet: Prologue presents the first levels of my new game Ynglet! You’ll jump between bubbles that float in the sky like you’re a space dolphin, as you melt into a highly reactive and dynamic soundtrack created by Ynglet’s custom (and needlessly complicated) music software!
